The website Retired Times is currently under development. When it is launched it will be:
- An environmentally friendly e-newspaper dedicated to retired people, no newsprint, no road or air miles just the press of a button.
- A newspaper to which subscribers can contribute in terms of comment and articles.
- Political comment will be based solely on the bias of what’s good for our subscribers, as will be the view taken on economic policy and the law. The columns of the newspaper will inform our readers as to who to vote for in their constituencies, not based on political parties but on the individuals concerned commitment to our quality of life.
- The newspaper will have specific sections devoted to various topics, as you would find in any quality paper:i.e.
- news from home and abroad
- social comment
- reviews on books, film & theatre
- gardening
- food & wine
- Sport etc……
‘Names’ are being approached to write on a regular basis, as will reporters from around the United Kingdom.
